Floor Laying

We offer a full end-to-end floor laying service, from an in-house consultation to coordination with your builder.

Whether you’re renovating, extending, or building new, we’ll begin with an in-house consultation. This will include helping you choose the best timber for your needs and best suited to your colour scheme. We’ll also take detailed measurements. Once you’re happy, we’ll move onto floor laying. We’ll level out your existing floor and apply a protective moisture barrier. We’ll then direct stick your wood flooring down, nailing if necessary.

Discuss your flooring needs with us, and we’ll happily advise the best wood options.

Timber

Engineered

Engineered wood is the most common type of timber flooring and comprises of two or more layers of wood in the form of a plank. The top layer is made of solid timber and is what’s visible when installed.

The layer is adhered to a substrate of plywood which provides stability.

I stay in Rodney my house is Double brick house and I have extended 90 Sq mt in front. So it was very hard work to match my 80 year old MATAI flooring to New MATAI floor in the new extension James and his team done beautiful job and looks like whole house is one job. Matching Laying and beautiful craftsmanship.
